NOT on Santa's List

It happened.

But there is no way. Absolutely no way.

Lucy told me she had found something she wanted to put in her letter to Santa, but didn't know what it was called. She pulled out the Bed Bath & Beyond ad and pointed to this:

I told her no. It was an easy answer.

Rachel was standing right there and said, "I don't know whose daughter she is."

Sometimes I don't either.

don't hate me, but I just got these for my boys.

before you get all judgmental, our basement isn't finished and has no heat and that's where they play video games in the morning (before I drag my butt out of bed) and I thought these would keep them a little warmer while they played.

that, and holden really wanted one.
but hey, we don't own crocs ;)

belly laughing right now...mostly about Rachel's comment though:)

What? You don't think they're super cute? Tee hee. I love Rachel. Today in her prayer in primary she said she was grateful for sisters and Lucy was totally beaming. So. dang. cute.

Rachel's comment is awesome. I have to admit, I bought my boys the Toy Story versions for Christmas. I'm not even going to try to justify it...I bought a snuggie and am not ashamed :)

Who would have thought?

Two of my sister-in-laws purchased them for their boys, and I teased them too.

At least nobody has bought one for their dog. . . Right??

I totally agree with you Emily. Those things are horrible. I don't need a blanket with sleeves. A regular blanket or warmer clothes works just fine. And do they really make these slankets for dogs. Come on really?

Hey AngelaB lets talk - maybe we can set Lucy up since her mommy is soooo mean. Then Jake, Jack, and Lucy can have a movie day in their snuggies. They will be so cool that Rachel and Adam will insist on getting one too. I bet Steve wants one; Emily I have an idea for your family pictures. :)

Also, if I let Tyler and Jack have their way, Charlie the Dog would also have a snuggie. I have to draw the line somewhere!

Don't be a scrooge! Did you know that Weezer has teamed up with Snuggie and there are now snuggies with the Weezer logo on them! Best gift ever! I know what I am putting on my Christmas list!
That Lucy is a classy girl!

What? You can get them with socks too. Oh Emily, you SHOULD get her one!! Kidding. I am okay that you made fun of me:) It is perfect for a kid like Jake. Rachel is very much your daughter & Lucy is very much her own person. It is always good to have a mix.

Tyler wants to get one for Charlie? Really? Wow, I don't even know how to respond.

I'd like to be there when you talk to Steve about having pictures taken in Snuggies. It would put the whole incident with The Daddle to shame.

Tyler doesn't really want to buy Charlie a Snuggie, but he thinks he is hillarious, so he says it all of the time.

A snob is one who has an air of superiority in matters of knowledge or taste.

Hey Emily, I'm behind you 100%.
Snob? Hardly. - Though if it comes to that, we can be snobs together.
Even if it does come with socks, I am not swayed.

PS - Rachel's comment -- quite funny.

OH I've been laughing about these for a few weeks now. James' brother went on a 1st date with a really nice girl to the BYU football game a few weeks ago. He thought these were the perfect gag gifts to hit the first date off with. I'm sure they were adorable in their Snuggie's. I think it's a horrible name as well:)

I happen to think it is a totally practical and reasonable request. What is better than something warm and fuzzy?
